TRADITIONAL KITCHEN OF PROVINCE:

ISPARTA MUSEUM:
This museum was openeed to the public in 1985; archaeological and ethnographic works are on exhibition. There are also material related to carpet and rug handcrafts.
YALVAÇ MUSEUM:
This museum was openeed to the public in 1966 archaeological and ethnographic works from, Hellenistic, Roman,
Byzantium and Ottoman periods are on exhibition. Inside the museum Yalvaç house which reflects ethnografical richness of the region worth of seeing.
Kervanseray SÜLEYMAN DEMİREL DEMOCRACY MUSEUM:
This private museum presents the last 50 years of the country’s democratic history, which based on, life of the 9th President Sleyman Demirel, with photos, pictures, gifts and audıo-visual materials.
FESTIVAL
Internatıonal Rose, Carpet, Culture and Tourism Festival of Isparta held every year regularly first week of June. This attractive festival takes place at the end of rose harvesting period and brings so much vital action to Isparta. Extraordinary parade, international folk dance shows, beauty contest (rose), famous singers worth of seeing.
HOW TO GET ISPARTA
The distance from Isparta to Ankara is 426 km., to İstanbul 617 km, to İzmir 394 km, to Antalya 126 km. The coach services to and from Isparta are provided by various bus companies. There is a regular daily train service to İstanbul and İzmir. Süleyman Demirel Airport is on service.
